Perma-Liner Saves The Day

In Seattle, a rather urgent sewer situation started with a spill from a 5-inch hole from an old 6-inch clay pipe that ran along 100-foot cliff in St Helens. The sewage flowed fast towards businesses. Loose soil and huge rocks cluttered this cliff which would make this a complicated situation and relining of 150 feet, had meet mill’s inspection deadline and complete this project safely. After taking safety precautions to make their way up the cliff, the crew created a sewage bypass that rerouted the sewage and prevented any more leakage through a snap-fit PVC pipe. The liner was placed on plywood to keep from being destroyed, impregnated and then rolled into the air inversion tank. The well positioned inversion head and blew the liner through the pipe. The City of St Helens removed the contaminated soil from the sewer spill and was relieved they had no more reports of sewer spillage from the cliff.
